In the Street...Venice in stripes

Scusate se ultimamente ho trascurato il blog, ma questa Biennale di Venezia e la mostra d’arte ILLUMINAZIONI mi hanno travolto.

Ho camminato per chilometri per quei padiglioni in mezzo a quelle opere stupefacenti e a quei look di architetti, artisti e designers assolutamente interessanti.

Adoro questo tipo di arte alternativa perchè in alcuni casi riesci a cogliere l’essenza della creatività.

La cosa divertente è che quando sono arrivato a Venezia pur essendoci stato parecchie volte ho notato i gondolieri con le loro maglie a strisce e ho pensato a quella scena del film Coco Avant Chanel, quando lei sulla spiaggia vede i pescatori in maglia a strisce e prende l’ispirazione per quello che è poi diventato il suo must al quale poi tutti a sua volta si sono ispirati.

La cosa incredibile è che tutta la città era invasa di persone vestite a strisce.

Venezia è davvero magica.

Sorry if I neglected the blog lately, but this Biennale di Venezia and the ILLUMINATIONS art exhibition overwhelmed me.

I walked for miles in those halls in the midst of those wonderful works and those very interesting architects, artists and designers looks.

I love this type of alternative art because in some cases you can take the essence of creativity.

The funny thing is that when I arrived in Venice, although I’ve been there several times I noticed the gondoliers with their striped shirts and I thought at the scene of the film Coco Avant Chanel, when she sees the fishermen on the beach in striped shirts and takes inspiration for what later became her must which has inspired  many others.

The amazing thing is that the whole town was invaded by people dressed in stripes.

Venice is truly magical.
